Inspired in large part by living creatures - plants, animals, fungi, amoeba, etc. - and the colors and patterns and textures found on those living creatures, these artists created a form with white earthenware clay, added textures and patterns with various tools, painted their forms after the bisque firing with acrylic paints, and added at least one other material to complete their pieces.
